		<content type="html">Hi,&lt;BR&gt;Thanks for the article.&lt;BR&gt;I too get that error message after trying to start a previously reliable machine. The last time it ran proplerly was only a few hours ago.&lt;BR&gt;The mouse fails to work, though the light is on underneath and the keyboard does nothing too, the Cap' Lock light can not be made to come on.&lt;BR&gt;Hence I am not able to provide get a report of the problem.&lt;BR&gt;I tried the command you recomended: chmod 1777 /tmp&lt;BR&gt;- no improvement and the same error message.&lt;BR&gt;Is there anythign else I could try?&lt;BR&gt;Many thanks, Nat</content>
